I am a disability activist about to enter my first year of college majoring in special education. I run a semi-monthly webzine focusing on disability culture and community as well as a website/information portal dedicated to disability pride and empowerment. Recently I was honored as one of 20 youth selected to go to a National Youth Inclusion Summit sponosred by organizations such as Including Sameul, VSA Arts, Boys and Girls Clubs of America and Girl Scouts of America, where we started to develop a viral campaign for inclusion of people with disabilities, set to launch sometime in the summer/fall of 2010. I am fascinated by disability culture and history and am always thirsting for knowledge.
